In this fieldwork, students will work in a K-12 classroom for a minimum of a half to full day per week for a minimum of 10 weeks. This course is designed to meet the required Pennsylvania Department of Education Stage 3 fieldwork competencies. Integral to this experience will be that students will work in their classroom under the mentorship of a certified classroom teacher. Each student will be supervised by an Arcadia University faculty member. This course is taken the semester prior to student teaching. Students earn a grade of S or U.
